Our Story
Don Barr established The Sound Doctor in 1976 in Fort Collins, Colorado located in downtown on Remington Street. Over the years the business has been an authorized service center for dozens of home audio brands. At its peak the business employed a number of technicians droning their trademark lab coats, providing superior sound service to the Fort Collins area.
As the age of home audio craze died down the company moved to its current location in Loveland, Colorado in 1996 where we’ve been ever since. While most other service centers closed throughout the 90s and 00s, The Sound Doctor has remained due to superior service and commitment to keeping high fidelity alive.
The Future
In today’s world dominated by electronics the demand for high quality electronic service will never go away. We will continue to provide repair services for not just Colorado but the entire mainland United States with our future plans to conduct mail in service & online ordering.
